Why Kansas City

The Kansas City food scene deserves better supply chains

Kansas City is more than barbecue. The metro area is home to over 80 farmers markets, a thriving independent restaurant scene, and thousands of small growers producing everything from heirloom tomatoes to specialty mushrooms. But right now, most of that produce never makes it onto restaurant menus because there is no easy way for a grower in Olathe to connect with a chef in Crossroads. Lettuce Eat changes that. We are building the bridge between KC growers and KC kitchens, one relationship at a time. No fees, no middlemen, no corporate gatekeepers. Just the people who grow the food talking directly to the people who serve it.

Simple by design

How it works in Kansas City

01

Local growers list what they have

Farmers, gardeners, and market vendors in the Kansas City metro area post what they are growing, how much is available, and when it is ready.

02

Local buyers post what they need

Restaurants and food businesses in Kansas City post requests with quantity and frequency. Growers see them and submit offers.

03

Connect and grow together

Review offers, pick the right fit, and build a direct relationship. No platform fees, no middlemen, no contracts.
